Hottest accessories of this season...

Legwears, hats, and belts are the hottest accessories of the season. Legwear in all colors is in style. Belts are also in style like last season. Especially wide belts, patent belts, red belts, and leopard prints. You can wear them over dresses, sweaters, and coats. If you are trying to create an hour glass figure, wear your belt high up on your torso. Hats are back in style again, any style that would go with your face and match your personality..And it's all about the colors this season.

Project Runway Winner

is Jeffrey. I have to say I was expecting it, but I wanted one of the other designers to win. Uli's final show was fantastic. I think she lost because according to the judges, she was not telling a story. But still the designs were incredibly nice. Laura also did a great job, but as the judges said her show was more focused not as innovative. You can purchase some of the designers's clothing online. First of all, check out the Project Runway website where they auction a lot of the items on the show.

Jay, the first season's winner has a website. http://www.jaymccarroll.com/
Jay showed at the New York Fashion week last month. His new collection is called 'Transport'featuring a futuristic theme.
Daniel also has a website. He was my favorite in the second season. I still can' believe that he didn't win. Check out his website: http://www.danielvosovic.net/daniel.html
Did you know that judge/designer Michael Kors offered him a job with his company. But later on Kors decided that he was not the right person for the job.
Kara Saun who came in second place to Jay. She also has a great style you can find her newest collection at http://www.karasaun.com/.

Magazines like In Style, Lucky, Allure, Glamour, and more raved about their products.

The website also offers a whole package of products for different looks such as 'romantic eyes' and 'luscious lips'.

Where to find the best bargains???

I find the best bargains in DC area at Loehmann's plaza, Filene's basement, H&M, and Zara. Zara is a Spanish brand. They have one location in DC area in Georgetown. Zara has a really good skirt and pants selection starting from $40. H&M has trendy stuff for dirt cheap. I recommend it also for accessories. Loehmann's Plaza and Filene's Basement are the best places to find the big designer brands. You can also find items sold at Loehmann's Plaza online at SmartBargains.
They have few offers this month:
12% Off for New Customers - End Date 11/2/06
Free Shipping on Orders Over $75 - End Date 11/2/06
$10 Off Orders Over $125 -End Date 11/2/06

What's hot?

I went to Tysons Corner today looked around for new furniture. Tysons got to be the place for buying furniture in DC area. There's West Elm, Bo Concept, Pacific Green, Crate & Barrel, Bombay, Z Gallerie, and more... Sectional sofas are in this season even though they are not as practical. Leather also seems to be everywhere, my favorite is the Boston armchair at Bo Concept. They also have a very similar one at Bombay much cheaper, it's called Harrison. You can find it online at The Bombay Company

Have you guys watched Project Runway? It's like the greatest show in tv. I can't believe it's going to be over soon. Who's your favorite?
Both Michael and Jeffrey seem very innovative, but a bit amateur. Uli and Laura are really good at what they do, and they both are professional tailors. It's hard to choose.
