I wanted to introduce this brand this time around, because I admire the fact that this clothing line is totally organic. Bodkin originated as a collaboration between designers Eviana Hartman and Samantha Pleet. Eviana, the head creator and the head designer, used to write about fashion for the Washington Post. The pair began by conducting a weekend experiment in reworking old leather jackets into bags. Their successful designs led them to expand into sustainable ready-to-wear and the creation of the Bodkin Brooklyn brand. The Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation Awards selected label Bodkin Brooklyn to receive the Sustainable Design award this year. Each piece is manufactured in the U.S. and mindfully sourced with such materials as organic cotton, organic wool, artisanal dyes, recycled polyester, closed-loop cellulosic fibers, and deadstock fabric. Brooklyn Bodkin is sold at these stores online: www.lagarconne.com, www.domahoka.com
www.bonadrag.com, and www.kindboutique.com. You can find it also at these locations listed on their website.

Just to clarify for the first 2 seasons Bodkin was designed by Samantha Pleet and Eviana Hartman together. They were both the head designers. Samantha Pleet parted ways to focus on her namesake collection but the two remain very good friends and still love to trade clothing!
Thank you for the clarification:)
