Inaugural Fashion

Have you seen Michelle Obama's gown at the Inauguration Ball? It was beatiful. It was definitely elegant and chic. Michelle Obama's gown for the inaugural ball was designed by Jason Wu. Michelle Obama shined in the white chiffon one shoulder gown designed by Jason Wu on the inaugural night. Her dress will be donated to Smithsonian.

Jason Wu is a Taiwanese-born fashion designer. He went to Parsons Design School, and interned later for Narciso Rodriguez. He won the Fashion Group International's Rising Star Award last year. He started as a creative designer for a high-end doll company. He started his own fashion line about three years ago. Jason Wu designed for celebrities such as Kerry Washington, Malin Akerman, and Amber Valletta.

Golden Globes 2009..

Have you guys watched the Golden Globes? I wish I was in California. The weather was perfect. I really love watching movies. Awards shows like this is the perfect occassion where two of my interests meet - fashion and movies.
I was very happy that Kate Winslet got so many awards. She's such a good actor. I really respect and admire her. I haven't seen her movie yet, Revolutionary Road, but I'm looking forward to it. I was also very glad Colin Farrell got an award. He was great in this movie. I recommend his movie, in Bruges, highly. It's a really nice dark comedy. I watched it when it first opened up in the movie theatres.
As for fashion, I have to say in women my favorites were Eva Mendes in Dior (it was very simple and so elegant), Maggie Gyllenhall in Lanvin (I love this dress and her look, but I wish it was lot shorter). In men, my favorites was Leonardo Dicaprio. He looked amazing!!!

Happy New Year!!! 1st Blog of the Year - Cool Bags of 2009

Hi Everyone, Happy New Year to all of you again. Hope you all had a great NYE. We had a really great time. We went to our friends' flat for a party first and then ended the night at a lounge in Georgetown. I got compliments throughout the night, everybody loved my dress:) not to forget my shoes and my purse as well. This year I did not make any new year resolution. I'm just excited about this year, I have plenty of changes in my life. I'm excited to see what is going to cross my way.
